Who Should Avoid:

  • Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Avoid for at least 2 weeks prior to surgery or undergoing anaesthetic

  • Should be avoided by those who are known to have allergies to plant species including Lolium, Salsola and Olea (olives are part of this family)

  • Do not take if you are on sedative medication as interactions can be dangerous

  • Be cautious if you take Anti-Diabetes medication as the combined reaction can cause dangerous drops in blood sugar levels

  • Be cautious if taking with Antihypertensive medication as the combined reaction can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure

  • Caution: can increase effects and side-effects of caffeine in some people

 

Recommended Dosage:

  • 20- 100mg taken orally daily for up to three months is safe and effective for most treatments

  • Do not consume in excess of 400mg (4 grams) in 48 hour period

  • Safe for children in smaller doses; 20mg for smaller children and 30mg for children weighing over 30kg
